Chloe Alexander

Owner + Studio Coach + Private Lesson Coach

Hey y'all! My name is Chloe Alexander, and I'm so honored to have brought PlayWisely ATX to Austin and the surrounding suburbs! I am a lifelong learner with a passion for education, child development, and family.

I earned both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish from The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I was a 2nd grade and 4th grade teacher/team leader in both Minnesota and Texas for 6 years. I'm so excited to utilize my passion and experience in education to make PlayWisely ATX classes engaging, memorable, and fun for both littles and their loved ones.

I currently reside in Dripping Springs, TX, with my husband, John, our four-year-old son, Hayes, our baby girl, Leighton, and our rescue dog, Brooks. In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, go out to eat, do pilates, thrift/antique shop, read, and experience all that Austin has to offer!

Brooke Martin

Hi there! My name is Brooke and I am SO excited to be joining the PlayWiselyATX team. The Austin area is near and dear to my heart- I grew up in San Antonio, TX, then graduated from the University of Texas (hook em!!) with my degree in Applied Learning and Development. As a certified teacher, I went on to teach 2nd grade for 3 years, then 4th grade for 3 years. My husband and I then moved to Dripping Springs, where we welcomed our sweet little boy, River, who is the light of our lives!

Alongside my boys, I love to be outside, travel, read, craft, and spend time with our friends, family, and cats (we have 3!). We also love going to PlayWisely classes, too!

When River and I started going to PlayWisely, I was thrilled to be around other mamas and babies in a setting that was developmentally appropriate and FUN! We loved PlayWisely SO much that I decided I wanted to become a part of the team. To say I am THRILLED is an understatement! Watching my sweet River learn, process, and explore at PlayWisely has been a true joy, and I can’t wait to walk alongside you as you experience it with your child.

Ashley Kitchens

Hello! My name is Ashley Kitchens and I am so thrilled to join the PlayWiselyATX team while Coach Chloe is on maternity leave! I am passionate about helping the youngest of learners grow and develop their natural abilities.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. I am a former DSISD Kindergarten teacher & team leader, a former church nursery & preschool director in Dripping Springs, and a PlayWisely mama myself. I loved PlayWisely and the concept behind it the minute I began classes with my daughter, Kinsley.

I currently reside in Dripping Springs with my husband, Ryan, our four year old son, Lincoln, our two year old daughter, Kinsley, and our two golden retriever mixes, Lucy & Bailey. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants in the Austin area, listening to music, shopping, being outside, and serving others.

Katelyn Brooks-Davenport

Hello, I'm Katelyn! I'm thrilled to join PlayWisely - this time as a Coach! As a longtime PlayWisely parent, I have been attending classes with my son, Oliver, since he was just 4 months old. My husband, Jake, and I recently welcomed our baby girl, Quinn, to the family in August. With seven years of teaching experience, I currently serve as a 1st grade teacher at Walnut Springs Elementary in DSISD. I have a strong passion for early childhood development and supporting young learners. I'm excited to bring my energy, experience, and love for littles to Saturday mornings at PlayWisely!
